Monarflex Tarpaulins
The market for tarpaulins is full of products with different quality which the Monarflex tarpaulin product range reflects – whatever the need we have the product. The product range therefore consists of tarpaulins with very high quality, a midrange tarpaulins as well as an economical tarpaulin.
Two of the tarpaulins from Monarflex consist of a reinforcement scrim protected by two layers of low density polyethylene (LDPE). The third product is composed of woven high density polyethylene (HDPE) tapes which are laminated on both sides with a Low Density Polyethylene.
The current product range consists of the following products:
• MONARFLEX® MultiCover (Reinforced plastic sheeting)
• Monartarp (Reinforced plastic sheeting)
• Ecotec (Woven tarpaulin)
Choosing the right product
It can be quite complicated to get an overview of the many different products available on the market today. Reinforced tarpaulins and woven HDPE sheeting are just a few of the tarpaulins available.
The following conditions have to be evaluated carefully before choosing the tarpaulin:
• Duration of the period in which the object should be protected by the tarpaulin
• Weather conditions – Extremely rough, moderate or mild weather
• Placement of the object protected - is it free-standing or protected by e.g. walls or trees

Tarpaulins for DIY market
Tarpaulins for the DIY market are single packed tarpaulins and the possibilities are numerous. All three product variants are offered in several colours and sizes – only your fantasy is setting the limits.
Single packed tarpaulins are either packed in bags and the bigger sizes are shrink wrapped. In the bag or the shrink foil a multi language insert is placed. The insert is showing different application possibilities. Furthermore information concerning the product name, code, colour, size and barcode is available on the insert. Monarflex single packed tarpaulins are ready to use and can easily be implemented in the store without further action.
Excellent Point of Sales tool - display boxes
On the very competitive market for tarpaulins we have found that it could be useful to present the tarpaulins in a practical and eye-catching display box. At the moment the display box is only available for MONARFLEX® MultiCover. The display box is ideal for merchandising in store and is designed to enable the customer to see and feel the high quality of the tarpaulin and the fixing eyelet.
Tarpaulins for the professional market
Tarpaulins for the professional market are mainly tarpaulins in divisible rolls. At Monarflex we only offer our top quality MONARFLEX® MultiCover in divisible rolls. Divisible rolls are 4 meter wide and 30m, 40m or 50m long. After either 3, 4 or 5 meters there is a double row of eyelets making it possible to cut the tarpaulin into the exact size you need for your specific project.
Another option is welded tarpaulins designed for your project. At Monarflex we have an in-house possibility of welding MONARFLEX® MultiCover to a size you require. Please contact your local sales office or distributor to discuss your project.
Finally, single packed tarpaulins are also a possibility for the professional market.
Logo
We offer our customers to laminate their company logo into MONARFLEX® MultiCover. Having your logo in a tarpaulin on a building site is a very efficient way of advertising your brand. The logo is printed separately on a white logo film and laminated into the product in the extrusion process. Logo is available in 3 widths: 200, 400 and 600 mm.
